This years 3RCU was a great success.
Over the 15 events took place across the catchment. Volunteers removed 75 bags of rubbish and pulled over 5300 Himalayan balsam plants. The annual event is not only good for maintaining the health of our rivers but also fantastic for engaging a wider audience in terms of helping them learn about the rivers, how we manage them and what they can do to help. 246 people took part in the activities this year and have certainly made a positive impact!
Next year, we wanted to make it bigger and better and try to engage our partners in other Boroughs. Keep watching this space for updates…
